Statistics about last year's reading

Books read: 334 (Mean per month: 27.8; mean per day: 0.92).
Most books in one month: Feb, 40; least books in one month: May, 9.

SF/F, 90
Non-fiction, 73
Mysteries, 61
YA, 44
Comedy, 37
(Other, 29- inc: children's, poetry, general fiction, etc)

(Categories are a bit fluid- eg, is Dirk Gently mystery, comedy or SF? So if I did this again tomorrow, the numbers would be slightly different, but they're indicative.)

Author with most books read: Mercedes Lackey. (*blush*)

A Lackey lackey?

Okay, while that could be considered fairly shaming, in fairness, as a percentage, that's probably fairly low, given that Mercedes Lackey grinds out about a book a fortnight! Seriously, I'm convinced that she represents at least 20% of the Amazon list.

A book a day? Where do you find the time?

Another interesting thing might be re-reads vs. first time reads (perhaps by category- most of the mysteries were re-reads, for example), but frankly I can't be bothered.
