Nov. 1st, 2006 01:06 pmAccess to online world restricted to (so far) only webcaff found in this town, which has three (3) computers. It's making me twitchy. Plus I should be looking up letting agents, not LJ.
OTOH, going to look at a house on Saturday. That's house, not flat- a 2-bed house for less than I was paying for one room in London. What's the opposite of sticker shock?
Also, it's beautiful here. Walk to station is along riverbank with moor, trees etc. in distance, nice stone town in foreground.
OTGH, missing London-area people, and there really isn't much to do in the evenings bar telly.
Secret Policeman's Ball highlights last night were excellent (glitterball suit! swordfight! No, I was not drooling, actually, keep your foul insinuations to yourself, Mason. Sqeaking with glee doesn't count)- not sure how much generous hosts appreciated all the bad language... going to watch Torchwood tonight, feel glad this is isn't the second episode with the [spoiler] storyline.
