Cautiously optimistic
Apr. 27th, 2007 05:06 pmI seems that all the Adventures With Utilities I've been having for, like, fucking months now may be over. That would be nice.
(Did you know that there's a company that just keeps track of what address all the electricity meters in the country are registered to? Apparently they very rarely get it wrong. The laughter, it is so hollow.)
(Did you know that if you ask the post office to redirect your mail or anything, what ends up happening is a little note illegibly scrawled on an orange bit of paper at a sorting office?)
(Did you know that British Gas are completely useless?)
Still. I've got yummy homemade bean soup to eat. And the second series of Vic Reeves' Big Night Out to watch. And if I leave now, I can get to the bookshop before it shuts...
