I aten't drownded

In fact the floods have spared where I live and work pretty much entirely- no drownings, no power failures, no stranded people helicoptered off their offices. The only problem here is that, as a colleague has just put it, "T'trains are all to cock." So I had to get the bus; oh noes, it takes six minutes longer. Minor inconvenience very much FTW this week.
It is supposed to slacken off from now on, which would be a Good Thing. The sun was out for five minutes just now...
