Wasted bank holiday

In two senses; getting quite drunk while watching Eurovision (who was surprised that Russia won?)- we turned over to watch HIGNFY and thus missed the Latvian pirates, sadly, but otherwise there was a good mix of shouty folkish stuff, sobby folkish stuff, proper cheesy Europop stuff, boring Americanesque soulish stuff (us), metal stuff (Finland), out of tune stuff (Germany), and totally mad stuff that I for one think should have won (Bosnia); also, intended to get quite a lot done by way of putting things away, and didn't, and meant to go out somewhere yesterday, and didn't. Ah well. It's nice to have time to just hang around vaguely once in a while.

I was really pleased that it rained this morning. Gardeners are weird.
