(no subject)

Went to see Jo Enright last week (it seems like ages ago, I've been dashing about the place to a farmer's market, and York, and lots of meetings since then)- she was sitting knitting as we came in! and it was more like an amusing chat/series of anecdotes than joke-y stand-up, but it was very nice. It was raining in buckets as we came out, and has been mostly ever since, but with luck it'll keep nice for going to Manchester tomorrow (for a hen night, but I don't think any of us are Mad For It types so it should be OK.)
