This is logic!
Sep. 5th, 2011 12:44 pmI has a bukkit. (In fact, I has several buckets; the particular one I am talking about here is the one I empty my dehumidifiers into. [1])
I have fished the same spider out of the bucket five times now.
My conclusion is that spiders are either rather dim, or good at training humans to do what they want (in this case, fish them out of buckets). I lean towards the first option as I don't think the spider actually gains anything from being in a bucket of water, and I can't think of much that a spider could theoretically be training me to do, given that my house is already quite a spider-friendly environment.
[1]Why pour it down the drain and then pay for drinking-quality water to soak pans and water plants?
