I've seen Top Hat live recently, which was just what you'd expect an Irving Berlin musical on stage to be, ie, fun, glamorous, excellent dancing, shallow; I saw a wren at the train station! It was about three feet away from me, it was amazing; and my order from Go Faster Stripe arrived so I have oodles of comedy to watch, and I am in love with Lee and Herring all over again. I sort of wonder at my teenage self- I was a fan of theirs and they toured universities- why did it never occur to me to see them live?
