Reading: just finished Seanan Mcguire's Midnight Blue Light Special, and am reading Stuart Maconie's Hope And Glory (history of modern Britain through looking at a particular day or event from each decade of the 20th century- Empire Windrush landing, ascent of Everest, etc- with lots of digressions and traveling around to see what it's like now in the places being talked about.) Both enjoyable.

Decided against going to Macynlleth comedy festival on grounds that B&Bs are sold out and my joints ache too much to do camping. Now being tempted by Latitude. Brain: see above re: NO CAMPING, please.
