Weekending

shark_hatPractically unprecedentedly, I went out for a drink with work people on Friday; it was nice, but had to leave early to get to the Ballets Trockadero. They were good- I didn't enjoy it as much as some of the audience, but I was very tired. I don't know that much about ballet, so I'm pretty sure I was only getting the most obvious jokes, but they were funny. Tremendously impressive dancing.
Afpmeet on Saturday- quite a crowded and noisy pub so I didn't talk to as many different people as the last one I was at, but those I did were nice. There was interesting chocolate. Also I was paid compliments. Did y'all know I was sweet? (Stop giggling at the back.)
Must get round to reading some afpers' LJs.
This thing about authors being able to reply to reviewers on Amazon... eek. John Scalzi and Scott Lynch's (NSFW, amusing swearword warning) takes on it have been my favourite so far.
