Hair care products

I'm so restrained. The *perfect* feedline on a mailing list- "do hair products ever count as magical?"- and I've managed to stop myself from posting the Naboo's Miracle Wax song. Only because I thought of mentioning it here, mind you. I now have it as an earworm, but that's OK, it's driven out Ode To Joy which was starting to annoy me.

I got The Half-Blood Prince from the library, am into chapter three. I think I've only read it once before, but have read lots of the commentary and fics. The first time I just wanted to know what was going to happen. Reading more slowly and paying attention to clues should be interesting. (Still don't quite understand why she's the one who hit the big time instead of any number of better children's fantasy authors, but it's very readable. Lots of nice bits- I enjoyed Slughorn being an armchair.)
