Ooh, the Kids In The Hall season 1 set has arrived! I wasn't expecting it till after Easter. Between this, Nathan Barley and Fry and Laurie I've got, um, 15 hours of new stuff to watch... and two and a half hours of radio comedy CDs, plus the stuff that's actually, y'know, on the actual radio this week.... and the things I want to watch again ... it's no wonder I'm not reading as much as I used to.
Having said that, I'm still on about 6 books a week :-) I've just had a Bujold rereading jag. I'd left them alone for a while and forgotten enough bits to have some surprises, which is good. Element Of Fire might be next up, or I haven't read any Ken Macleod for a bit. Hmmm, bookdithering. I'm not sure how useful a catalogue would be to me- even if I spent ages putting in all the tags I could think of- because what I want to read next usually depends more on the feel of the book than genre, and trying to put a tag on tone sounds quite tricky. I think now I want something... optimistic, but not fluffy; with an interesting ensemble rather than solely Hero-focussed; some irony preferred. Brust? No, too mannered.
Well, if I remember by Monday what I decided I'll let you know- I'm sure you'll be hanging on the refresh button ;-)

matociquala's signing at Forbidden Planet this evening. I think it ends just too early, or I finish work just too late, whichever.
