Hey,
kattahj, I assume you know this?
May. 18th, 2006 11:49 amThe first series of Steven Moffat's old show, Joking Apart, has been brought out on DVD by a fan- I mean, he bought the rights and set up a company and did it professionally. And got some of the actors to do commentaries. It can be bought from Replay DVD. If enough sell he'll do the second series.
Also, he's now thinking of using the expertise he's gained to do some more shows and is asking for suggestions. I'm actually hyperventilating at the thought of Fist Of Fun, (Un)natural Acts, The Mary Whitehouse Experience, etc- things I'd given up on- having some sort of chance of getting made.
ETA: "using the expertise he's gained"- how management-speak is that? Am worried I didn't notice before. Please consider that I said "he's now thinking of doing some more, having got into practice" or something else less offensive.
