Oh great. Merely the world coming to an end is now not EPIC enough apparently. Just once, could the end of a series be, like, "Oh no! I'm going to spill my tea!!!"... cliffhanger... "Phew, saved it." ( Spoilery speculation, although to be honest given who's writing the finale I'm not sure it actually counts as speculating in any way ) And could that AU have been any more heavy-handed?

"Oh, and this sketch is still going on, a day and a half later." "Mmm. If you want to put the kettle on-" "Never mind a cup of tea, there's time to nip out for a three course meal, come back and it'll still be happening."
