There's an interesting thread on the DWJ list at the moment, and a couple of things on LJ, where I went to answer and thought "Wait... what do I actually have to say here?" I don't think "Well, I always just accept Ann/Vierran's age as what the text says it is at any point, but now you mention it, the reveal at the end does do some interesting things to your view of her on a reread" adds anything much to a discussion. Seems either the brain is atrophying, or I always was this dull but used to be happier about wittering on in other people's space before I had the blog. Hey ho.
Anyway, there seem to have been several posts all about the state of MEEE recently. Sorry, will try harder. Half the problem is not going out and Doing Things, of course- but I realise I haven't talked about gathering elderflowers to dry to make tea, walking home every couple of nights via the rec and picking a bunch of them bigger than a basketball, weaving the heads together so as to not drop any, and getting some very funny looks from people (although only a gaggle of teenagers have actually asked what I was doing, and they didn't seem to believe the answer. I wonder if there'll be any elderflower smoking incidents?) and getting pollen all over my tops, and then trying to find sufficient flat space at home to spread them all out, and the house smelling entirely of flowers, and not being sure when they count as dried. Which is a thing. And also, very high winds t'other day, lots of tree branches down, but luckily not from the one at the bottom of my garden, which would probably have entirely crushed everything we planted a couple of months ago. So anyway, conclusion goes here. Um, amusing snack blogging?
