Mar. 23rd, 2007 02:12 pm3 good things this week: went to The Gondoliers -fun- set in 1930s, which worked well, I thought, the Duke of Plaza Toro was v. Mussolini-ish; a good orchestra and chorus; but a couple of surprisingly weak voices- one of the secondary female leads was flat half the time, as well. Anyway, I was with a bunch of people, one of whom has met our big-boss-to-be at a previous job and apparently she's well thought of, so that's encouraging; I thought I'd lost my phone but I haven't; and a pair of thrushes have colonised a grassy knoll outside our building.

Date: 2007-03-23 05:13 pm (UTC)I don't think two thrushes is quite up to infestation standards, mind you- I mean, indoors, certainly, you can be infested with one bird indoors if it's moving too fast to swat, but hoppin' about eatin' worms in the fresh air as Nature intended, it'd have to be quite a lot more to take on the scary tide-of-birds quality that "infested" conjures up for me.
Yrs aff, S-H
PS: Set about and beseiged by thrushes. Send cats.
PPS: Infestation of cats. Do not send dogs, repeat, do not send dogs. Pls locate soonest a really big ball of foil onna string and a helicopter to dangle it from.
