So there was this show I'm a fan of, and there's a website with all sorts of their old stuff to download (which they're cool with, because it's old stuff.) Am I all thrilled and happy about this? No! I am grumpy, because out of like about 40 links, a couple are broken, or you download the thing and it doesn't play. What an idiot.

(Plus aargh! Why is VLC giving me audio but not picture on some things, and why is the controller disappearing half the time? Why does the pause button appear to mean "pause the sound but not the picture"? How is this possible? What's going on? Why is the world like this? *Makes face of losing grip*)

VLC appears to be slightly dodgy on Intel Macs - there are lots of complaints, should be better in a few months...
