Busy weekend in the Peak District. Personally I'm not sure if self-actualisation is that great an idea, but most of the people there seemed to enjoy the workshops. (I knew several of the people, they all were a good bunch to go to the pub with.)
Then zoomed off on Sunday night to see Milton Jones- he did a couple of characters (Boris, and a grandad who had flown lego planes in the war) briefly, and there were a couple of extended bits about being on a boat and in prison- both with the same prop, a bit of expanding trellis. He also seemed a bit less far into the persona than sometimes- talked to the crowd a bit, including some sterling putdowns. But it was mainly the one-liners, which need no embellishment. ("I ripped open my Christmas presents", "my other grandad...", "boo-meringue"...)
