Ooh. Just got some lovely feedback for my very first (completed) fic. Addictive.
Fucking Npower. They are never getting any business from me again ever ever ever and no returns. Just startling levels of uselessness. (SRSLY. After a year's worth of correspondence and having an entirely new meter fitted, to still be reading next door's meter? World. Of. Fail.)
The house did not fall down in the earthquake. (And there's a sentence I thought I'd only ever read, not write.) Furthermore, as I was up there anyway, I could check the radiators, and it turns out that they do have thermostatic controls already so I don't need to get them fitted. (By gum, you're glad you're reading this entry, aren't you?) Also, there's enough room in the living room to get four bookcases in after all.
I was slightly amused, when I rang my solicitors to ask them not to complete until I'd checked the house, that the bloke went "Oh. Maybe we should suggest that to some other clients."
Had a dream about Mitchell and Webb leading an army of cunning zombies through a shopping centre on the side of a cliff. There was mayhem in a chocolate shop.
Torchwood. Oh the foolishness. You can't take a breath to do mouth-to-mouth, but you have no problem talking? Oh ridiculous emo zombie. Also the whole secrecy thing continues to go well. Other than that, angst-filled fun as usual.
