I enjoy all the True Game-verse books and Gate To Women's Country, but most of the things Tepper's written since then have had good plots but the characters have been ciphers in the service of MY ANVIL LET ME SHOW YOU IT, and pleh to that. Another annoying thing is that I think she's right [or productively wrong] about a lot of the preachy stuff, and if she'd write essays about it instead of cluttering up the fiction, I'd buy 'em!)
