I spent quite a lot of yesterday walking round Soho and along Upper St. (Partly for the fun of it, and partly trying to find a cafe with free tables. Which I eventually did, in Borders, so I have a Cook's Illustrated that
sigmonster can read on Sunday.) Lots of good things to look at. The more I spend time actually doing things in London as opposed to just commuting through it, the more I like city life.
Went to the Fortnight Club last night, at the Camden Head in Islington. It's a new-material night, which are good ways to see people you like without having to book months in advance.
